Bringing home the hardware

Top seed Dickinson captured its first WDA Tournament title since 2016, defeating rival and No. 3 seed Bismarck High on Saturday, May 28 in Bismarck. The Midgets, the defending state champion, will be a top seed and favorite heading into next week's state event in Jamestown.

Notes: Bismarck High held the tie-break over Legacy and Jamestown..Legacy held the tie-break over Jamestown...TMCHS did not play a complete varsity schedule and entered the postseason as the No. 10 seed...Dickinson and Minot did not play a conference doubleheader.

Moving on

No. 5 Jamestown edged No. 2 Minot in a state qualifier to punch a ticket to the Class A Tournament which the Blue Jays will host. In the other qualifier, Legacy used a big first inning en route to a win over rival No. 7 Century and advance to the program's first Class A Tournament.
