Notes: Bismarck High defended its title, scoring 23 points and having five runners in the top nine...Century senior Wil Ihmels won the individual title in a time of 15:15 was also named senior athlete of the year...Ihmels became the first Century runner to win the title since Evan Sayler in 2017...In addition to BHS, three other WDA teams finished in the top five (Williston, 2nd; Century, 3rd; and Mandan, 5th)...Fourteen WDA runners earned all-state honors, representing five teams (BHS, Century, Dickinson, Mandan, Minot North, Williston)...Scott Reichenberger of Bismarck High was named state coach of the year...There were 200 runners...Conditions were sunny with temperatures in the upper 50s.
