MANDAN - Grand Forks Red River defeated Bismarck Legacy 2-0 in the state tournament quarterfinals, improving their record to 9-5-4. Legacy ended their season with a 16-2 overall record.
Owen Martin led the scoring for Red River, finding the net twice. His first goal came in the 13th minute with an assist from James Bryant, setting an early tone for the game.
