MANDAN - Fargo South secured a decisive 4-0 victory over Jamestown in the state tournament quarterfinals. Fargo South improved to 11-3-2 overall, while Jamestown concluded their season at 7-9-2.
Caleb Nissen led Fargo South with two goals, opening the scoring in the 15th minute with an assist from Nanthaniel Kun. Nissen struck again in the 28th minute, this time unassisted, to give his team a commanding lead.
Moussa Sanoh extended the lead in the 65th minute, converting a pass from Prajal Rai. An own goal by Jamestown in the 72nd minute sealed the victory for Fargo South.
Fargo South will face Fargo Shanley on October 17, while Jamestown's season concludes with this match.
