BISMARCK - Century triumphed over Legacy with a 5-2 victory in a non-counter dual at Sanford Sports Complex on Aug. 27.
Century's victory was highlighted by strong doubles play, securing three wins there. The pair of Teddy Andrist and Ryker Dunlop won at No. 1. Mason Wagendorf and Jacob Gross won in straight sets at No. 2. And Arlin Grinolds and Camden Layawen won at No. 3. Legacy had two wins in singles, including a victory at No. 1 Connor Svihovec. And Kevin Kalb at No 3. The Pats' two wins in singles came from Connor Michela at No. 2 and Beckett Henderson at No. 4. The win was Century's third of the season, improving to 3-2 overall and 0-1 in WDA play. Legacy dropped to 1-5 overall.
Century will face Minot North (4-1 overall) on September 1, while Legacy prepares to meet Jamestown (0-4 overall) on the same day.
