BISMARCK - Minot High broke a scoreless contest with a pair of second half goals en route to a 2-0 road decision at Legacy on Aug. 27 at Sanford Sports Complex. The win was the Magi's third in a row, and first shutout of the season for keeper Honour Amsbury. The squad is currently atop the conference standings. Carson Fiske's tally at the 55th minute proved to be the winning goal. Tayson Solper added an insurance marker. Legacy goalkeeper James Erickson was busy, stopping eight of 10 shots. Looking ahead, Minot will face Bismarck (2-1 WDA, 3-1 overall) on September 3. Legacy will host Williston (1-2 WDA, 1-2 overall) on August 29.
