Huck takes the reins of Legacy's volleyball program

BISMARCK – Courtney Huck takes over as head coach for Legacy's volleyball program, taking over the reins from long-time coach Jennifer Astle.

Bringing over a decade of experience within the Legacy program, Huck has served as an assistant coach for the past 11 seasons. In addition to her high school coaching duties, she has extensive experience at the club level, having served as Co-Director for Capital Volleyball Club from 2016 to 2020 and holding the position of Vice President on the Greenwave Volleyball Club board.

Huck, a Bismarck native and graduate of Century High School in 2013, expressed her enthusiasm for the new role. “I am incredibly honored and grateful for the opportunity to step into this role. Legacy Volleyball holds a special place in my heart having spent the past 11 seasons building relationships, competing, and growing alongside our athletes,” she stated. “I look forward to continuing to build a program that develops strong athletes and even stronger young women.” In addition to her coaching career, Huck has been teaching math at Legacy since 2017 and is a devoted wife and mother of two.
