The 2026 postseason begins with the West Region Track and Field Championships scheduled for Saturday, May 16 at Biesiot Activites Center (BAC) in Dickinson at 12 noon. All 12 WDA schools will participate in the meet which also serves as the conference meet. The top six place winners in each event as well as any athlete/relay that reaches state qualifying standards will be eligible for the state championships.
The 2026 ND State Track and Field Championships will be held Thursday-Saturday, May 21-23 in Bismarck at the MDU Resources Inc. Community Bowl and hosted by Bismarck Public Schools Activities.
