GRAND FORKS - Mandan edged Fargo North 3-2 in the state tournament quarterfinals, improving to 19-2 overall and 6-1 in the WDA. Fargo North's record now stands at 2-2.

Jared Christen led Mandan with a victory in No. 1 singles, defeating Arnav Panwalkar 7-6 (1), 6-2. In doubles, the team of Matthew Christen and Deklan Wollschlager secured a crucial win against Nate Wilson and Thomas Webb with scores of 6-4, 8-6.

Fargo North's Drew Burris delivered a strong performance in singles, winning 6-2, 6-2 against Lucas DeRosier. However, Mandan's Ben Sayler and Eli Kleinknecht clinched the match with a doubles victory over Dhimant Mannuru and Matthew Vandrovec, 6-1, 7-5.

Mandan advances to face Grand Forks Central next, while Fargo North will compete against Minot, which holds a 5-2 WDA record and is 17-7 overall.
