Boys Cross Country
Team of the Week: Bismarck
The Western Dakota Association continued its dominance in boys' cross country. Bismarck High successfully defended its state team title and three other conference teams -- Williston, Century and Mandan -- cracked the top five in the team finish. A WDA team has won the team title every year since 2004. The individual champion was senior Wil Ihmels of Century and the next four placewinners all were from Bismarck High. In total, 14 runners from the WDA finished with all-state honors (Top 20).
