BISMARCK - The Minot Majettes secured its third state championship, and first since 2022, with a 72-61 victory over the Fargo Davies Eagles on March 14 in Bismarck.
Minot High senior standout LeeLee Bell led all scorers with 34 points, shooting 13 of 25 from the field and grabbing 12 rebounds. Fellow senior Maggie Fricke contributed significantly with 21 points and 7 assists, showcasing her playmaking skills.
For Fargo Davies, Fallon Passanante scored 19 points, including 3 of 10 from beyond the arc, and added 5 rebounds. Quinn Skari also made an impact with 13 points and 5 rebounds.
Minot dominated the boards with a 57.6% total rebounding percentage, which played a crucial role in their victory. With this win, Minot concludes a remarkable season which also included a WDA regular season and West Region Tournament crown. The Majettes were 26-1 overall.
