GRAND FORKS - Minot High secured a decisive 4-1 victory over Valley City to clinch the North Dakota State Championship, concluding their season with a flawless 22-0 record. Valley City finished the season 18-1.

Kyllie Fettig led Minot with a strong performance in singles, defeating Georgia Zaun 6-3, 6-3. Sydney Brown also contributed with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Cambrie Westman, showcasing Minot's depth in singles play.

In doubles, the team of Ava Thunder and Grace Olson sealed a win against Skye Nielson and Rylyn Johnson with a 6-2, 6-3 scoreline. Ella Sherven and McKenna Odahlen also won their match 6-3, 6-4, completing Minot's dominant showing.

Minot High captured its ninth state dual title, marking their sixth-straight appearance in the finals. The last time these teams met in the finals was in 2024, when Valley City took the title.
