October 8, 2026 · Boys Soccer · WDA Sports
JAMESTOWN - Trailing 1-0 at halfime and needing wins to remain in the hunt for postseason play, Minot North needed its offensive side to shine in the final 40 minutes. It did. The Sentinels found the net three times, including twice in the final 10 minutes to earn a 3-2 road win over Jamestown on Oct. 8 at JHS Rotary Field.
Grady Eckart gave the home side a 1-0 lead with his goal 23 minutes into the first half. Minot North used three goals by three different players after that. McClain Roberts tied the match with the 58th minute mark. Leading scorer Jayden Marshall made it 2-1 with his goal with nine minutes remaining. And Anthony Winter Jr. provided what would be the game-winning tally. Eckart would score again for the Blue Jays with 90 seconds to play, but Jamestown, playing its final match, couldn't get the equalizer.
Minot North will close out its season against Dickinson on Oct. 10.
