GRAND FORKS - Minot North's Colton Griffith won a key match at No. 1 singles, outlasting his opponent, Quin Kruger, to win a super set. That proved to be the key win as the Sentinels edged Valley City 3-2 in a tightly-contested match at the state tournament consolation semifinals. Minot North improved to 14-8.
North won all three singles matches. Brayden Callahan won at No. 2 and Macsen Knittel at No. 3. The Hi-Liners won both doubles matches, winning convincingly at No. 1 and needing a super set to get the win at No. 2.
